I love weddings as much as the next person. The cake, the flowers, the beautiful dresses, the vows made, the love shared, the best man’s speech (for the better or worse), but do you know what’s better than a wedding?
A dog wedding, of course! Take a journey with us and we’ll look at seven woofderful weddings from all around the USA!

Our first wedding is a showstopper for the ages! Bride Baby Hope Diamond, a heartbreakingly adorable Coton de Tulear, and her poodle groom Chilly Pasternak, tied the knot during a $158k charity benefit for the Humane Society of New York. The Guinness World Record folks named this pupstraviganza the most expensive pet wedding ever held! All attendees had to pay for their tickets.
Church bells were ringing down the pristine corridors of the Methodist Mansfield Medical Center's Physical Medicine ward when two golden retriever therapy dogs, Peaches and Duke, were united in matrimony. To seal the deal, they shared a puppacino at the onsite Starbucks. There hasn’t been a sweeter co-worker love story since Jim and Pam from The Office! Click here, to watch a video of their puptials.

Thursday is one of the best days of the week, but for two very lucky pups at Greenville County Animal Care, one particularly special Thursday changed their entire lives. The South Carolina Animal shelter threw Duke and Honey a formal affair that was the envy of the entire town! The ceremony was given all of the bells and whistles of a human wedding- even down to formal wear fittings! Instead of gifts to the happy couple, people were encouraged to make a donation to the shelter in which Duke and Honey both lived before they were adopted by the same human family.
In a slightly less opulent affair, Mister and Misses, two shelter dogs from Atlanta were married in a small ceremony after their human owner lost their home. The Best Friends Lifesaving Center put on the wedding to not only take their long-term relationship to the next level, but also in the hopes that the next person who wants to adopt a pup might consider adopting this happy couple. Prior to the big day, Mister was thrown a bachelor party filled with treats and adventure, while Misses spent the day looking for the perfect white gown to wear down the aisle.

The next wedding is our first interspecies marriage! Elizabeth Hoad, a swimsuit model from the United Kingdom, has never been lucky in love. She tried every dating site and app under the sun and had struck out 221 times- only to realize that her perfect match had been right in front of her the whole time. Elizabeth and her golden retriever, Logan, were married live on the British morning talk show “This Morning”. We wish all the best for this happy couple!
John Paul Bones and Buck of Chicago were married on a Sunday in a charity benefit to raise money for Alive Rescue and The Hot Mess Express, which are non-profits that care for homeless pets and pets who have been deemed “unadoptable” or hospice bound. The nuptials involved live music and a silent auction. All of the canine attendees are up for adoption.
This bonded couple got hitched at the Kennebec Valley Humane Society in Augusta, Maine. Likely named for the John Mellencamp song, Jack and Diane were elderly strays found on the streets of Chelsea before being brought to the humane society. Diane sported a flowing white veil down the aisle- Jack, a tuxedo collar. The folks at Kennebec Valley hope that the ceremony will advertise the couple so that they can be adopted as a pair.
