If you're going to have a dog in your home, you're going to need to train it. Whether you want your furry pal to speak on command, roll over, shake, or just want them to sit when you tell them to, it's going to take training. Dogs have their own personalities, just like people do, and certain breeds have been known to take to training easier than others. Here is a list of 5 easy to train dogs that just might make a wonderful addition to your home.

Labrador Retrievers are popular pets, and rightly so! They're obedient, good with children and other pets, and versatile. They're athletic animals, though, and need daily exercise. If left to their own devices, they're known to get into trouble!

The Rottweiler is a confident and imposing dog, making it a popular choice for people wanting a dog that can protect them. They're reserved animals that are wary of strangers; socialization is necessary to keep them calm around new people. This breed takes to training easily - provided it's consistent - and can make a wonderful family pet.
