How many of us have watched our precious pooches slip as they scamper upstairs? While many dogs can cite over-excitement as the reason for their clumsiness, it seems that stairs have been designed primarily with humans in mind. This could present a problem to some pooches with back issues, but one lucky home owner has found a solution. 
According to Fast Company, a architect in Vietnam has renovated a gorgeous home with both the humans and canines in mind. How exactly did he do that? By creating a dog-friendly staircase that is easy on the pooches’ legs.
This, of course, isn’t the first invention created to help dogs climb up stairs.
Who could forget the dog elevator designed specifically for huskier pooches that made headlines in 2012?
For those of us with dogs that are simply too nervous to climb the stairs, make sure you clear the pathway of any debris, according to About.com. The website also suggests throwing treats onto the staircase as your pooch climbs up it, to encourage him to follow you.
