DoggieLawn Explores: Pooches In The Spotlight!

This past month a pig named Amy grabbed the spotlight at the Seattle Kennel Club Dog Show. There, the adorable piglet showed off her obedient abilities, demonstrating her sitting and skipping skills. Though Amy did not take home the Best In Show prize – dogs named Sobe and Decker ultimately did – it leaves us wondering: what does it take to become Best In Show? For those of you interested in entering your pooch into the high-stakes competition, we’ve noticed two breeds took home the top prize twice over the past ten years.
Both the Beagle and Spaniel (English Springer) have been named Best In Show a number of times since 2000 at the prestigious Westminster Dog Show. The dogs are popular breeds at these competitors and are also well known for their hunting abilities!
A Beagle was named Best In Show just this past year and in 2008, while the Spaniel was given the title in 2000 and 2007.
These adorable pooches may be Top Dog favorites but that doesn’t mean they are immune from an accident from time to time as well! That’s where DoggieLawn comes in. Our dog sod potty patches will keep him indoors for an easy potty solution. Simply place your dog sod litter box inside your apartment for an outdoor-free experience. Your outdoor dog litter box can easily be used indoors, and picking up your dog’s potty is a breeze since it’s all contained on the dog litter box. We also carry poop baggies that come in a variety of colors and fun patterns to match your stylish pooch!
