DoggieLawn Explores: Help Adopted Dogs With A Cup Of Joe!

Move over cat cafes! Los Angeles has just welcomed and bid adieu to a brand new “pup up” shop! The temporary dog café put its paws in place in downtown Los Angeles, and coffee drinkers from all around were able to drop by for a cup of joe and the chance to meet some adoptable dogs. Dog and coffee lovers alike were able to get their fill of this unique watering hole until last week. Customers could mingle with pups inside a clothing store. Just outside is a food truck where customers can grab a cup of joe. 
The owner of the set-up is itching to create a more permanent place and has even set up an IndieGoGo to help fund the endeavor. She’s hoping to fetch $200,000.
The upcoming endeavor has been touted as America’s ‘first dog café’ on her IndieGogo and states 20% of the coffee sold in Southern California will be donated to locally based rescue partners by Grounds And Hounds Coffee Co. (who are providing the coffee).
