It's the day after Thanksgiving. Now that the turkey has been carved, the pumpkin pie has been sliced, and stuffing remains refrigerated, it comes without saying that you have more than enough leftovers to last you a good few days!
But did you know that your dog can partake in the post-feast as well? Just make sure you give him just a bite, and not a full plate full, according to the Huffington Post!
Here's a list of some Thanksgiving staples your dog can healthfully and safely enjoy: 
1) Turkey of course! Just make sure the meat is thoroughly cooked, has not been seasoned, and is boneless to avoid splinters, according to the Huffington Post.
2) Pumpkin! It turns out dogs can safely have some of this fruit, so long as it's served plain, according to the Huffington Post.
3) Mashed potatoes, but just make sure it's free from any outside ingredients like butter and cream, according to PetMD.
4) Green beans are an excellent leftover for dogs, and a great way to get some greens into their diet, the website adds.
