I brought home an 8 week old pup to my 3rd floor city apt. less than a week ago.
As a first time dog parent, in the city, during the coldest months of the year, I knew potty training would be a challenge.
Surprisingly, it has been much less concerning than originally expected! She LOVES the real grass & when it starts to get too cold at night, I can simply move the grass pad inside so it’s a little warmer on her feet. It’s been incredible since I received it! Prior, I was attempting to use potty pads, but she would just nip at them and try and move them all around. The grass seems to be a much more natural place for her now (and keeps her from peeing on my carpet!!)
I did have a small hiccup with delivery, as I ordered it with the intention of receiving it before I even brought her home (there was a 3 day delay) but this wasn’t necessarily a doggielawn issue, it seemed to be on FedEx side. Even then, the doggielawn team was very vigilant and reached out to me to provide status updates throughout the delays.
The first three days (with the puppy pad) where incredibly more difficult - i don’t know how I would have ever kept that going. The real grass pad is MORE than a game changer!
