What an incredible story; setting the tray up on top of 4–6 feet of rock-hard snow is no small feat, but we love that your pups immediately preferred the feel of natural grass over the frozen ground. It’s a huge win that they went right to business without any hesitation! 🌿❄️ As you find your rhythm with maintenance to keep things smelling fresh for two big dogs, keep in mind that the real grass actually does most of the work for you by naturally absorbing liquids. You don't need to do a deep clean; a light misting with water every few days is usually all it takes to keep the grass hydrated and fresh. For solid waste, you'll just want to pick that up daily, exactly as you would on a regular walk. During inclement weather, it’s a good idea to cover the lawn or bring it indoors to prevent it from getting buried under fresh snow or becoming oversaturated.
